A festival held in San Miguel de Allende that features eight keynote speakers over the course of the five-day event, all of whom represent both the United States and Mexico. In addition to these keynote speakers, a large group of academics, authors, editors, and others offer attendees keynote lectures, skill-building workshops for writers, author readings, consultations, panel discussions, and intensive workshops.

It is an opportunity for attendees from both countries to become familiar with authors, literature, and literary styles from the other country, thereby creating a surprising richness. Participants are immersed in the world of Mexican and American literature. The festival is entirely bilingual.

The purpose of the Conference and Festival is to bring writers and readers of diverse nationalities and backgrounds to the cultural heart of Mexico, to inspire and enrich their lives, and to encourage them to forge new personal and professional connections.
