A program held in Atotonilco, Guanajuato. American and Mexican artists or graduate art students participate in the creation of community-impact art projects addressing socially relevant themes, such as water scarcity, the gentrification of San Miguel de Allende, violence in communities, and migration. The artists spend several weeks developing their projects and working with young people, their families, and teachers to foster exchange between artists and neighboring communities, thereby enhancing their cultural heritage, sensitivity, and creative capacity in relation to social issues.

To provide participating local youth with opportunities for learning and cultural and artistic expression that are not otherwise available to them.
