Jazz at Lincoln Center is the world’s largest organization dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of jazz, exclusively presents a series of jazz concerts and academic activities to young children interested in music at Centro Cultural Roberto Cantoral, in order to enrich their musical instruction, promote jazz as well as the development of new audiences for this art. .
Concerts and lectures started in March ending in November of this year, with the top representatives of this art form (trios, quartets, quintets) usually presented in the halls of Lincoln Center in New York.
This attractive project began in Mexico City in2013, with the collaboration of various cultural organizations such as: Fomento Educacional, A.C., DeQuinta Produciones, Centro Nacional de las Artes, Fundacion Jazz Fest, A.C., and others.
Jazz concerts and academic activities are also carried out in the cities of Puebla, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara and Torreon.
