Crossing Borders is a project that brings together Mexican and American singers. This bicultural choir gets together to perform in the United States and accompanied by the New Haven Symphonic Orchestra, works from American composers. Through an cultural exchange that includes rehearsals, gatherings, and housing of Mexicans at their American counterparts' homes, personal and professional bonds are created between musicians. Fomento Educacional, A.C., is involved in financially supporting the program in order to make this invaluable cultural understanding possible. The program is developed through the bicultural exchange, Crossing Borders.
